HALLO LIEBE (in development)
A fiction short film produced by Dagvorm Film & Rayuela Productions
Encouraged by her father, thirteen-year-old Luca shaves her armpit hair for the first time on vacation, sparking a quest for acceptance. But the more she conforms to expectations and normative beauty standards, the more the hotel resort begins to change in strange ways, with nature taking over and mysterious hairy women appearing.
Hallo Liebe is a poetic, slightly absurd short film about adapting and fitting in, about your own nature in a world full of constructions.

NOT A MORNING PERSON (in development)
A personal documentary accompanied by Sound Image Culture
Eternally searching for her own rhythm, a young Brussels-based filmmaker sets out to observe the early morning rituals of her city. She wanders, observes, meets people, and captures a slice of time where the end of the night and the beginning of the day overlap. What she discovers is a hidden choreography, a quiet routine that prepares the city for its waking hoursand an essential link in the maintenance of a system. But not everything speaks of productivity. One morning, she meets Dirk, a neighbor whose struggle with alcoholism has placed him in a different rhythm. They begin spending several mornings together, reflecting on their disrupted routines and the longing to be like everyone else. What starts as a portrait of a time frame spontaneously turns into a search for self-acceptance.

TOO FAR TOO CLOSE (2018)
Graduation film at KASK
Too Far, Too Close is a frame story, connecting the lives of a handful of city residents. A search for a lost cat sets the characters in motion, but their hunt between windows, doors, rooftops and walls is also a search for connection with their absent loved ones. In a time where we find each other more often there where our images meet and where our written words touch, distance feels more relative than ever. Too Far, Too Close draws life paths like chalk lines in a small drawing, while in memory they live at half a world's distance apart.

NOMAN (2024)
Experimental short film, based on a theatre play by Anna Carlier
Two women travel in an Opel Corsa to a remote place to commit suicide. They end up in Noman, an abandoned afterlife of which they don’t speak the language. Jombat ukuwa. Together they fill the void, but what kind of afterlife do they need to invent to give life meaning? Noa wants “nothing”. Alma wants “together”. And together in nothing is not together? Noman is an experimental narrative film at the intersection of multiple disciplines. It is a film about imagination. About wanting to see what isn’t there and not wanting to see what is. About holding on and letting go.
